Through Dadlington, Fenny Drayton and up the A5 lies the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium at The Lamb, home of Tamworth FC. It is here that Barwell will play on Tuesday 29th September with a kick off of 7.45pm.
As is becoming standard, tickets must be bought in advance for this one. This can be done here: https://thelambs.ktckts.com/event/tam2021h02/barwell.
Barwell picked up a point on the road on Saturday away at AFC Rushden & Diamonds whilst Tamworth had a late goal glut, beating St Ives Town 4-2. This was the first league win of the season for the Lambs after they drew in the first game 1-1 away at Peterborough Sports. They did win, like Barwell, in the FA Cup by beating league rivals Stourbridge on penalties.
Barwell will be hoping for another good performance from Jamie Ashmore, who scored on his debut on Saturday, to help them on Tuesday evening. Tamworth are always a tough team to play against and are one of the favourites to win the league this season.
Barwell are contending with a number of injuries at the moment with Eddy Nisevic the latest to be added to the physio table after going off injured on Saturday.
Live updates will be available on our Twitter feed.
There is parking available at the ground at a cost of £2 per car.
