Barwell head to Bromsgrove Sporting on Tuesday 3rd November for a Pitching In Southern League game with a lockdown looming just 2 days later. We currently have no more information about the effect of the lockdown on football at our level so are planning for this game to go ahead. Kick off is at 7.30pm for this one. Tickets are available in advance and the advice is to buy in advance or run the risk of not getting in on the night.
The Victoria Ground has been a happy place for us recently with a big away win in the last game of last season and a win in the FA Trophy earlier in the season. Guy Hadland will be hoping that we can recreate some of that magic as we look to get our 2nd league win of the season.
Sporting have not, themselves, had the start to the season they would be hoping for. A defeat at home to Coleshill Town in the Trophy on Saturday came on the back of a heavy 5-1 defeat away at Hednesford Town on Tuesday. The Rouslers have two league wins this season over AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Biggleswade Town.
Tickets can be bought here: https://www.bsss.org.uk/products/bro-vs-bar
There is very limited parking at the ground and please be aware of the restrictions on parking in other car parks close to the ground. Supporters should park at the Heart of Worcestershire (HOW) college (B60 1GN), a 7-minute walk to the ground and easy access to the A38, or on the Stourbridge Road car park (B61 0AB). Please avoid parking in Victoria Road.
The Rouslers Bar, Sports Bar and the Rouslers Return pop up bar will all be open. There will be a table service operation in place.
Please be aware that Bromsgrove are requesting that everyone who sits in the main stand and uses the Rouslers Bar use face coverings.
