Basildon left it late to grab the three points yesterday at The Mile End Stadium scoring three goals in the last seven minutes to run out three-one winners.
Daryl Cooper came closest to opening the scoring during the first half when he saw his shot strike the upright shortly after the visitors had a close range shot trickle just wide. And the home side took the lead just two minutes after the restart when Shiblu Miah scored on the break away.
It looked like it could be a frustrating second straight defeat for Bees. That was until Lee Delf nodded in a Joe Skeels corner in the eighty-third minute to make it two goals in as many games for the tall centre back.
Not content with the draw, second half substitute Ayoola Odedoyin then converted another Skeels assist just two minutes later. And the scoring was wrapped up a minute from this time when another substitute, Yaw Danso collected a through ball from Skeels before lobbing the ball over Denzel Kobia in the Bengal goal.
