'Red' was a Boars junior and made in his First Grade debut in 1999 at the age of 17, where he was an integral part of the premiership winning team. The same year he toured England and Wales with the Australian Antipodeans Squad. After leaving the club he played for Wests in Canberra in the colts and First Grade team before stints with clubs in the North Coast of NSW and Perth, before returning to the club to Captain the side to the 2008 premiership. He has since been a part of the 2010, 2011 and 2013 premierships, captained the South Coast Marlins team, and gained selection in the Brumbies Provincial team on two occasions.
