How, Who, What and Where

What are we about?

We can safely say that the atmosphere of the club couldn’t be friendlier. Our number one priority is to go out on a Saturday afternoon and play some good competitive cricket, then afterwards relax and enjoy the summer evening with team-mates, family & friends. The club has always been family orientated and we regularly see friends and loved ones beside the boundary having come along to enjoy the sunshine and peaceful surroundings. Whether it’s a barbeque or a trip to the local public house, there’s always something going on after the game, to which all are invited.

Where do we play?

Nestled amongst magnificent Georgian architecture & beautiful National Trust Gardens, BHCC plays all of its home games up at Prior Park College. You really couldn’t wish for a more picturesque & peaceful setting in which to play cricket. The grounds are always in fabulous condition and the view overlooking the World Heritage City of Bath is truly sensational.

How to Find Us

By road: Prior Park College is situated on the southern edge of Bath, just off the A3062 on Ralph Allen Drive. If approaching from the town centre via the ring road, turn onto the A3062 Prior Park Road which becomes Ralph Allen Drive. The entrance to the College is after 1.8km on the left. If travelling via the A36 from the south, turn left, initially signed to Monkton Combe. Carry on up Brassknocker Hill and at the top of the hill, turn left into Claverton Down Road. As the road leads into North Road, turn right into Ralph Allen Drive. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.

To find the cricket pitch, come through the main gates of the college and follow the road all the way past the main school buildings until you come to a fork in the road. Follow the road round to the right at the fork and continue for about 400m. The cricket pitch is on your left hand side and the car park can be found at the end of the road on the left.

For internet maps & Sat Navs, the post code you need is BA2 5AH (Ralph Allen Drive, Bath).

Events & Out of Season Events

The club holds many informal events & organises many social gatherings throughout the year. During the season we try and hold as many BBQ's as possible after our home games and out of season many of us meet up socially and organise various outings to local sporting events or simply a catch up at one of the local taverns.
The club also holds an annual end of season dinner and presentation in November to which partners & past players are all invited.
