Bath Girls Storm Tournament at Burnham on Sea

The U13s tournament was arranged to allow the local girls teams to get together and get some game time under their belts, as a lot of the teams are new set ups and struggle to get fixtures.

Bath U13s Girls went along and formed the 'Amazons' team with a couple girls from Winscombe, Wellington and Burnham on Sea. There was some real talent among the girls - we were particularly impressed with their support in attack and their teamwork in scoring their tries, especially as a some of the girls had never played along side each other before.

They showed great sportsmanship towards the other teams and the more experienced players showed excellent camaraderie by leading the newer girls and guiding them on the pitch.

We will continue to train on Monday nights with England players Izzy Noel Smith and Kim Oliver, every fortnight.

Training starts at 1830 at Lambridge Training Ground.
