A wining team goes to Wells

Typically slow to start with a disappointing lack of focus from some, Bath went on to pass the day undefeated although the first game was a draw. The players were divided into two equal teams as is the process for ’friendlies’.

The day went really well with some brilliant displays of skill including strong team work and player support resulting in numerous tries. The boys ability to think ahead was becoming evident with players demonstrating they can predict the flow of play to enable successful attacks and strong defense when appropriate. Turnovers were created through strong defense and accruing 7 tags. Play of the day went to Charlie G for an excellent juggling act while receiving a pass on the run, enabling him to maintain control of the ball in the air whilst striding through for a try.

While there were numerous demonstrations of skill by various individuals, Player of Week went to Mathew Marshall for his constant commitment, positive attitude, play contribution and attention to peers and coaches throughout the whole day, well done Mathew!
