BIFC Last Man Standing competition

What is this competition?

This competition is created to support BIFC with the annual running costs and provide players with a chance of a cash prize. Each player will pick a Premier League team from the weekends fixtures. If they win, you go again the next week. If not, you are out. The last player(s) will win the cash prize.

Registration and Entry Fee

Please register for the competition by filling out the google form on the below link.

The entry fee is £10 which will be split with 50% to the club and 50% to the winner(s). Please transfer entry fee as provided in WhatsApp with below reference.

Reference: Your Name - BIFC LMS (e.g. John Smith - BIFC LMS)

What next?

Registration is open until 30 Jan 2025 for the game weekend 01 Feb 2025. All registered players will receive an e-mail with the following details on 31 Jan 2025; list of all registered players, the choice of each player for week 1 and the cash prize up for grabs at the end.

On Tuesday 4th Feb 2025, players will receive an e-mail with the summary of the week 1 results and a link to select their team for week 2. This process will follow each week until the competition ends.

Game Rules

  • First game week will be Saturday 1 Feb 2025
  • Participating player pays £10 per entry & picks a team from the first week’s round of fixtures by 30 Jan 2025.
  • If chosen team wins, you are through.
  • If chosen team loses or draws, you are out.
  • You can only pick a team once eg . if you picked Liverpool and they win then you cannot pick them again in this competition.
  • Prize pot will be 50% of the total collected and will be announced before the first round commences. 50% to BIFC to support annual running costs.
  • You have the opportunity to ‘Buy Back In’ if you are knocked out in the 1st round, again entry is £10 – you will be governed by the same rules and you will not be able to pick the team you picked from the 1st round.
  • If there are 2 players remaining and both are knocked out in the same week, they will be joint winners and split the pot.
  • If there are more than 2 players remaining and all are knocked out in the same week, all of those remaining players will continue on the next week.
  • All entries must be submitted by the google forms which will be sent each week per e-mail update.
  • If you fail to submit your weekly entry by the deadline then your selection will be made based on the team occupying the lowest league position at that time.
