Please be aware that as of midnight – Wednesday 4th November – the Club will close for all formal activity, both in the clubhouse and on the pitches.

The Executive Leadership team will of course keep you abreast of any changes as and when we are notified by the RFU.

The club is very aware of the need for many if not all of you to keep fit, get fresh air and exercise so you are all encouraged to continue with your fitness programmes as before and work with lead coach David Sia as and when required for fitness and skills remotely.

Government guidelines can be found here https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

It goes without saying we are very proud of everyone in the way that you have pulled together since re-starting in the spring especially as the clubhouse has undergone a major transformation with its upgrade and has been out of bounds. We also appreciate the support that our members have given with the the rugby day in September and the two touch events with Beckenham RFC more recently, and the strict obeyance of the COVID-19 guidelines meaning the events were a great success.

The hard work that has been put in so far must not stop. The Club will be doing everything it can to stay in touch with you and it is vital that you stay in touch with us at the club. If anyone is in need of help then please feel free to contact either myself or a member of the management team.

The support of members and sponsors is the life blood of our great Club and I hope you will all continue that support.

In the meantime please be sensible out there !

Regards, Nick
Chairman, Beccehamian RFC
