WELCOME
Hello All,

Welcome to the U8's Team for 2018-19 (School Year 3). We are really looking forward to another year of fun and happy children down at the Club.

So what are the changes from U7 to U8

This year we are going to be really focused on building our squad through team work and team ethic and we will be really encouraging this throughout the year. Details of the some extra team events can be found further below. We also have a few events planned for the parents and carers too.

In addition to the team ethos, each week we will also focus on the RFUs Core Values, as they are also important to us as a team and club
Teamwork.
Respect.
Enjoyment.
Discipline.
Sportsmanship.

It won't be long until we start festival season, so can we please have your availability for the festivals noted below.

We are hoping to support the 1st Team on a Saturday for one game in the season and then at the next home training session we will have 1-2 first team players helping us at training. We are reviewing the fixtures and will try and confirm soon.

We also wanted to let you know about our communication plan for the year as it is really important you know when and how we will be advising you of what is going on and how you can get in touch with us. We will be handing out monthly newsletters at training with information about the forthcoming month, weekly e-newsletters via Mail Chimp direct to your inbox and regular updates via the Slack App (we can re-send / send the details for this). We can always be emailed Beccsrugby10.11@gmail.com or contacted on Slack

Finally don't forget to arrive for training at 10.20 so we can get tag belts on and get the kids kicking and throwing the rugby balls to each other before we start. (Adults might even find time to grab a coffee)
