U10s Sidcup Festival

You can always guarantee the weather for the Sidcup Festival to be challenging. This year was no exception with many torrential downpours is an understatement! Team Beccs like all other teams, just rolled up their sleeves and got on with it.

After playing within a group consisting of Sidcup, Sevenoaks, Old Colfs and Beckenham. Team Beccs played a mixed bag of rugby. Although understandable in the conditions, winning one and losing 3 but still managed to finish 3rd within the group on tries scored.

This meant a 3rd place final vs Old Colfs. Good for us we always save the best for last and after losing 4-2 within our first game with them, turned the tables with a very good team performance of attacking and last ditch tackling, winning 4-3.

The commitment the boys showed was fantastic with every player staying to the end. Many a drenched child and they got their reward with winning the final. Awesome!
