Under 7s at Old Whitgiftians Festival

Using an innovative (some might say complicated) format for this festival, Old Whitgiftians hosted squads from Beccs, Old Colfeians and Old Elthamians in the Under 7 age group.
Each "squad" was effectively two teams of four players, playing simultaneously against two teams from an opposing club, on side-by-side pitches. As a club with two "squads" entered, Beccs were even able to play themselves in a Beccs Bulls versus Beccs Bravehearts opening encounter.
The two squads played 20 matches in total. The combined results were Played 20, Won 10, Drew 1, Lost 9. This includes 5 wins out of 5 for one of the Bulls teams, and several losses where the margin was just one try.
These were outstanding performances and reward for the efforts of the players, coaches and parents involved. Great work!
