Beccs v TJs

After the previous Sundays win against Sidcup, we were confident of a good result, but still unsure of the oppositions strength.
This was a hard fought game against a much stronger team. We started slowly, allowing them to dominate us which put us on the back foot.
In the last 10 minutes of the game we woke up and decided that we needed to start playing harder and putting a lot more effort in. Our scrums, defence and attack improved significantly.
The final score is no reflection of how much effort the boys put in and we were unlucky not to score at least one more try.
Everyone put in a big effort and upped their game which is really encouraging.
The team was well led by captain Dylan "Humpty Junior"Humphreys who had the honour of powering over the line to score our sole try which was converted by Jack Cavell.
Of note Riley "Two hands"Tymon had a fantastic game playing with aggression and attacking with glee, running straight at the opposition.

Hands up to the coaches who missed our try being scored as we assisted an injured player off the pitch. In future I think we may have to make the injured crawl off themselves so that we don't miss any of the action.

Final score 7-36 with one try to Beccs + conversion and 6 tries to TJs + 3 conversions
