It was always going to be a tough encounter, Hanworth Villa sitting in 5th place and smarting from there defeat at our place was never going to be easy. The 1st half started brightly and sports controlled affairs, scoring after 15 minutes though skipper Jamie Richards on 15 minutes. Jacob Lamb made it 2-0 on half time and it was what sports had deserved.
The 2nd half was a different game as Hanworth Villa came out fighting, pulling one back on 47 minutes and looked much the better team until 72 minutes when Ellis-Jones finished the game off with a stunning finish from outside the box. Villa lost there heads and Loveridge was sent off for a heavy tackle followed by what was deemed a stamp on sports forward Sancez.
3 Big points with all around us also winning, next up Farnham at home, a tough nut to crack as we found a month ago, it will need another big performance
