Sports started the day as one of the inform teams in the league as we welcomed former fellow CCL club Egham Town in another big game for sports. Sports started brightly and Charlie Postance volleyed home on 2minutes. Sports should have doubled there lead when Scott Harris found the Egham keeper in fine form. Egham then scored one of the best goals scored at the Rec when there No4 Hammered home from 30 yards out. Sports then went 2-1 up as Charlie Postance found space in the 6 yard box to put us back in front. Then disaster struck for sports as Keeper Matte Pierson who took a heavy knock on 20 minutes was unable to continue on 35 minutes, the Gaffa Paul Johnson took the gloves as stand in keeper. Sports then found themselves 3-1 up on the stroke of half time when Charlie Postance run on to a through ball, chipped the keeper and then headed the ball into the empty net.

Half time and sports now sent out Mustafa Teriyaki in goal as Paul Johnson came back onto the pitch. Charlie Postance added his and sports 4th when a goalmouth scramble saw him smash the ball against the inside of the post and hit the Egham No2 on the line to go in. At 4-1 sports missed a number of good chances but overall were delighted of another 3 big points as we go into a tough Xmas period where we meet the top 4 form sides in the league in the next 17 days.
