10 man sports hit for 6

Sports knew it would be a tough task facing the league leaders, with manager Paul Johnson away at a wedding, Midfield general Jack Mills away due to his partner giving birth (congrats jack) which was then added to by Jeff turning up at half time and Perry going missing prior to kick off. Sports but up a brave fight, and if Charlies Goal which was wrongly disallowed had stood, sports going in at half time would have made a game off it. However the lino had the flag up for scott harris who was no where the ball when Charlie smashed it home, this was then compounded when the Ref then sent Charlie off at half time when asking for the ball the forward chipped it towards him, it hit one of the hayes players which I can only assume was very very hard by his reaction, this resulted in a straight red and sports down to 10 men and 2-0 down against the highest scoring team in Non league football.

Not that Hayes & Yeading needed a hand but the 2nd half saw them awarded 2 pens and run in another 4 goals to hit sports for 6. We now need to bounce back at home to Ashford Town next Saturday
