A Late Jamie Read goal saw sports earn another valuable point in the battle to beat the drop

Sports looked to carry on from Tuesdays result and getthe 3 points that should have secured premier football for another season. Danny Bryon and Nathen Cooper both were not availible but sports once again were able to field there full attacking force in Mooney, Sanders, Parma and Read.

Wembley were much much better than the last time we met and went 1-0, Wines then made several saves to keep them at bay as sports looked to hold off Wembley. As the game went on a Joel Saunderson free kick cannoned off the post and the goal poacher Jamie Read levelled for sports on 36 mins. Now it was all sports and Darryl Sanders long hopeful ball seemed to elude everyone including the keeper and go in from 40 yards. Sports seemed to awake wembley with this and before half time it was 2-2 when the forward found himself free on the edge of the box.

The second half saw Wembley totally dominate with there player manager not missing as pass and pulling sports all over the place, a cross from the right found there winger free at the back post to make it 3-2 to wembley and there only looked like 1 winner. Sports young side never give up and kept at the task in hand, when Tommy Mooneys shot was saved Jamie Read once again pounced on the rebound to make it 3-3 in the 86 minute. Sports then pushed for a winner but it proved a massive point with Horley losing, Ash, Alton and Mole Valley all drawing. Sports now have 42 points with 2 games to go, we are still not quite safe so we go to local Rivals hanowrth villa still looking for points and with 1 eye on results of our rivals could see us safe before welcoming the champions to the sports club in our last game of the season next saturday.
