After a disappointing last 2 results, Bedford arrived in a cold and windy Watford ready to put things right and looking to keep pace with the key top 4 places. After a great start and pushing the home team back there was little break through in the first 20 minutes. Despite an onslaught of pressure for 20 minutes Bedford were left to rue missed chances, compounded further by West Herts scoring from a cheaply conceded short corner with 5 minutes to half time. Bedford started the second half with renewed intensity forcing West Herts to defend their D. Bedford were dominating possession with some good build up and playing their patterns. Good build up play from the back saw Bedford create a host of chances that they failed to convert. The pick being Richard Evans who's was allowed to turn in the D arrowed a shot into the bottom corner which brought out the David DeGea out of the the Stags keeper. Despite the unfortunate run of losses, there are still many positives that will hopefully be the catalyst for a improved performance and result next week at home to Letchworth.
