Queens took on Dunstablians in their first league game of their Centenary season. Dunstablians went in front 14-10- largely thanks to the pace and power of their impressive full back- before a flurry of Queens tries from Josh Steele, Alex Wright, Jack Peachey and Dave Morrish made the scores 27-14 at half time. Dunstablians started the second half brighter and were turning the screw on Queens with continued pressure in the Queens 22. Following a Queens sin bin Dunstablians would then score gaining some momentum before a Paul Ryder try and Josh Spearing penalty put the game to bed. 35-28 the final score. Queens travel to Leicester Forest next week and hope to continue the good form.
MOTM this week went to Paul Ryder with strong performances from the returning Dan Ridge and new centre Jack Peachey.
