Bedford Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder Hugh Alban Jones has left the club. Earlier this week, the Eagles accepted an offer made by National League North side Peterborough Sports to release Hugh from his contract and gave permission for them to discuss terms with him.

The transfer has been completed this afternoon. Alban Jones made 82 appearances for the Eagles since joining in the summer of 2021. We would like to thank him for his commitment throughout his time at the Eyrie, and wish him all the best for the future.

In further player news, Kofi Halliday has also decided to leave the club. He is currently not involved, and is yet to transfer to another side.
