Bedford Town Football Club is delighted to announce that Drew Richardson has committed himself to the club for another season. The 21 year old played an instrumental part in our promotion last season and has signed a further one year contract that will keep him at the Eyrie until the summer of 2023.

Drew spent his youth at Luton Town, before moving to Biggleswade Town in 2019. Having spent a year at Langford Road, he moved to the Eyrie in the summer of 2020, missing only a handful of games in our title winning season. The 21 year old now returns for another campaign at step three.

Speaking to www.bedfordeagles.net, Manager Gary Setchell said "I'm pleased that Drew has signed on for another season at the club. He is a young player who is developing his game and continues to impress. We all look forward to seeing how he adapts to playing at step three come August."

Drew is the third of last season's squad to sign on for next season, joining Elliot Duffy and Connor Tomlinson on contract. All three players are available to sponsor now on the club's player sponsorship scheme. Please contact Dan through commercial@bedfordeagles.net for more information.

As the summer continues, plans are being put in place for the pre-season friendlies throughout July. Ticket arrangements for these will be announced soon. The latest confirmed list of games is as follows:
