Bedford Town FC is delighted to welcome the signing of Connor Calcutt. The 26 year old has completed a transfer to the Bright Management Eyrie, having been with Hendon this season.
Connor started his career at Berkhamsted scoring 37 goals in 70 appearances. This record earned a move to Stevenage FC, whereby he scored for them against Plymouth Argyle in 2014. After leaving Stevenage, he moved to Wealdstone and Kings Langley, before his most successful season saw a return of 28 goals in 33 games whilst with Barton Rovers in 2017.
Speaking to www.bedfordeagles.net, manager Nathan Abbey commented "I'm delighted as a football club we have secured the signature of Conner he will be a great addition to our squad and the future of the football club. The director of football Jon Taylor has been working hard behind-the-scenes trying to make this deal happen and we have finally agreed terms with the lad."
Abbey continued "It's testament to the direction we are trying to go in, to be able to sign a player with such quality from the high divisions. Connor will provide us with vital competition upfront and give us a new dimension with the current forwards we have already got. "
Connor's registration is being processed at the moment, and he should be available for our home game against Coleshill Town FC on Saturday. You can buy your tickets now for this fixture. Visit the online ticket store at https://bedfordtownfc.ktckts.com/ to get yours!
