he Eagles travel to New Lamb Meadow for a big game against Arlesey Town in the Beds Senior Cup quarter-final. Bedford progressed to the quarterfinals after beating Stotfold on penalties in the last round.

The Eagles will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s 0-1 defeat to Needham Market. Despite a decent first half, Needham Market found their way through and got the match winning goals.

Connor Tomlinson has now reached fourteen goals this season as he is well clear at the top of the Bedford goalscoring charts. He is also top of the assist’s charts.

The Eagles will want to advance to the next round as the winner will face the Luton Town development team in the semi-final. Luton have beaten Shefford Town & Campton as well as Biggleswade United to book their spot in the semi-finals.

Arlesey Town have been having a decent season in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division as they sit in eighteenth place. Form has picked up lately as they look to push themselves away from the relegation spots.

Arlesey have been getting good results lately but need to turn their draws into wins because there have been plenty of occasions where they have got one point instead of the deserved three.

The Blues beat Barton Rovers 1-2 in the last round in a bit of a cupset as Barton sit in the division above Arlesey. They will look to cause another upset today.
