The Eagles travel down to Kings Langley for the third game of the season. Gary Setchell will want the team to make it three out of three games unbeaten in the league.
Bedford Town currently sit in fifth place in the Southern Premier Division Central League which is a play-off position. It has been a good start to the season so far for the Eagles as a draw against Stratford Town and a win against Barwell puts Bedford Town on four points out of a possible six.
Gary Setchell’s men could go far this season but a win against Kings Langley would be a statement to the rest of the division as Kings Langley have also started the season strongly. Bedford will need Connor Tomlinson and Tyrone Lewthwaite to run riot again much like they did to the Barwell defence.
Charley Sanders and Danny Setchell will be able to make their return for the Eagles following suspensions. Congratulations to Connor Tomlinson’s who will be making his one hundredth Bedford Town appearance and I'm sure he will want to mark it with a goal.
Kings Langley are currently in third place in the league on four points as well. They beat Redditch United 2-3 on Saturday thanks to a late goal from Ryan Case to secure the three points on the road.
They drew 2-2 with Mickleover Sports at the Orbital Fasteners Stadium on the first game of the season. Alie Bangura and Ken Feyi scored the goals to earn a point for the Kings. They will want to put in another good performance and hopefully get some more points on the board in front of the home fans.
Kings Langley played in the Southern Premier Division South last season and moved into the Southern Premier Division Central League for this season. Kings Langley finished twentieth last season surviving relegation by eleven points. The Kings Langley fans will be hoping for something different this season and so far, it looks like it will be different.
A second away game of the season for the Eagles as Bedford Town are looking to add to the points tally. Best of luck to both teams!
