For their third league match of the season the Eagles travel to Creasey Park, the home of AFC Dunstable, looking to extend their winning run. The OD's have had a mixed start to the season, winning their home opening match against Colney Heath 2-0, before losing away to an 85th minute Didcot Town goal, leaving them in a mid table position.
Last weekend in their Preliminary Round FA Cup match Dunstable, progressed by beating Essex Senior League side Clapton FC 1-3.
The clubs last met at Creasey Park in November 2019, when the Eagles emerged as 2-3 winners , with Bedford's goals coming from Tom Hitchcock, Dan Walker and Joe Steele. Only four Eagles from that match are likely to feature in this fixture, while AFC Dunstable now count several former Eagles in their team, including Jake Newman, Ben Farrell, Jamie Head and Brett Longdon.
