The Eagles’ 3rd away game on the bounce in the league takes the side into Oxfordshire on Saturday, to take on Thame United.
The home side are definitely not to be taken lightly, as they quietly climb up the table, and hold 7th position; just 5 points off the playoffs.
After our 3-0 win against them at the Eyrie in mid October, Thame have lost just 2 league games in the 13 played since.
Lynton Goss is their top scorer at the moment, with 10 goals, and he bagged a brace in their last game away at FC Romania.
Bedford produced a solid performance against Hertford, and will have to be just as disciplined against Thame, as well as all teams, so that will probably be a mute sentence.
In the fixture last October, our own top scorer - Rene Howe - bagged a brace that day, with Connor Tomlinson getting the other goal.
If you’re going by train, the nearest station is Haddenham & Thame Parkway, and is just under 2 miles from the ground, and is a 2 and a half hour journey from Bedford.
