Here at Bedworth RFC we don’t just have senior teams; we also have a mini and junior section ranging from 5-15. This is only in the early years as it was only restarted back up beginning of last season. We will take a look at all the coaches from all the age groups. They do this voluntary and have worked hard over the past year to get it to where it is today; growing with more kids joining and coaches being added. Without all these people involved with in the mini and juniors Bedworth RFC would not be able to do this and create hopefully the future stars of England.
Introducing Lee Cooper, your mini and junior coach
Little bit about Lee: He’s been playing rugby for over 18 years with all that time being spent at Bedworth RFC where he represented the first and second teams on regular occasions. Lee is also the Mini and junior section chairman and also helped set this back up over 12 months ago.
“We only started about 12 months ago but I’m really pleased how well we have grown. We have great coaching team with plenty of playing experience behind them. All our coaches are fully qualified and recognized by the RFU. Our main aim at Bedworth RFC is to ensure the children have the best opportunity to learn and develop their game of rugby, to make friends and have fun. I really believe here at Bedworth we are one of the best in the midlands at providing fun rugby in safe environment.”
Bedworth RFC is always looking for more players of all abilities, girls and boys 5-15 years old, to represent the club and take part in weekly training.
The club is fully accredited to the RFU, has experienced and qualified coaches for both mini & junior certification. If anyone is interested and wants to find out more then please get in touch;
