RFU have moved to stage D on the “Return to Rugby roadmap.”

We’re all missing the game and can’t wait to get back playing. Still patience needed but some exciting news from the 1st September the RFU announced the next stage up on their “Return to Rugby roadmap”. We have now moved from stage C up to stage D. Remember the RFU have a six stage plan before the community game can continue where we started at stage A and will continue through to stage F. Still a way to go before we can play competitively but progress has been made and we now enter into the next stage.

All being well the RFU usually have at least 1 month in each stage before they could move on. They look at updating to go inline with government guidelines so it can all still change. Local lockdowns of course will also factor in what stage each club maybe on. The club are updating the training plans and risk assessments to coincide with stage D.

For more information on what these changes mean and more on the RFU “Return to Rugby Roadmap” please follow this link and Rugby roadmap ReadyForRugby. See also the government guidelines here for update on what we can do.

If we all follow these new guidelines we will soon be able to get our game times back on Saturdays and kids can be back for Sundays. Please all stay safe and follow the guidelines put in place. Look forward to seeing you all on the field #UTB
