Written by a man with a double hangover, surrounded by bags and a blow up mattress.

Apologies for the lateness of this report, its now Monday, what with the CCC annual dinner and the arrival yesterday of 2 New Zealand rugby fans needing to be entertained its been all go.
On Saturday Belgrave entertained Lutterworth RFC who at present are fourth in the league, match official for the day Mr Nick Houghton who is at present resting, touch judge for Lutterworth Mr David Kelly, whose claim to fame is that he is chairman of the Manchester City supporters club in his own home.A hidden meaning here methinks.
On the kick off Belgrave attacked the clubhouse end and came under pressure they were forced onto the defensive. After 10 minutes Lutterworth number 8 Nick Southern scored on a ten yard run.His claim to fame is that he played for England at under 16 and under 18 level but he,s 32 now. There you go John and Jo Southern his proud parents you owe me a pint, will collect it in January.
Lutterworth then went further ahead with a penalty,Belgrave put 3 points on the board with a penalty. Lutterworth went further a head with Edward Garner crossing the line, scoring his first try for the club since returning from down under.
Belgrave went onto the attack put the ball through the backs and Kevin(bungle)Curtis crossed the line to score. At half time Lutterworth were in front by 15 points to 8.My search for famous people continued, having not found one this week, but I did note that that the Crumbies new dog is a dead ringer for Tin Tins dog Snowy. This is what we have come to.
Lutterworth opened the second half with a try by Joe Sullivan,Belgrave mounted an attack but gave the ball away allowing Luke Ball to gather the ball in his own half and run in a try.Lutterworth dominated play and scored twice more through Joe Benjamin and Olly Jepson.
Belgrave battled on till the end and Callum Hollis went over in the corner following a driving maul by their forwards making the final score Lutterworth 39 Belgrave 13.
In anticipation of my annual award at the Cricket dinner I walked home in the style of the famous actress who is no longer with us,Dorothy Tutin who stated when accepting an award its the three Gs.gracious, grateful, get off.I accepted my award in that style and got an excellent round of applause.
Must away now a night at the Tom Hoskins with Joe(legohead}Pollard,Tom(statto)Hunter and the New Zealand lads, followed by the quiz at the Talbot last night came second and won £60 on the play your cards. Then Rons Café this morning. The question is will my body stand up to it and going out again tonight.
A free week next week, next fixture Market Harborough away on the 24th see you there. As an aside having been on Lutterworths website I note an ex work mate of mine does their under 15 match reports.Liked the "no tie no pie" bit Paul. But do not give up your day job.
