Written by a man haunted by history, hearing " Wow" too often and whose washing machine is on today.

As an avid follower of current affairs I am hearing the word "wow" used too often in society and the media, and so I have decided to ban its use in LE4 before expanding the ban to the rest of the country. The penalty for its use will be a £1 fine, failure to pay will result in a visit from the dreaded Austin Brothers. So don't be heard saying "wow"
Today an away fixture at Market Bosworth RFC famous for where the Battle of Bosworth Field took place and King Richard 3rd was defeated,it is not recorded if he said "wow" or not when he was hacked to death.lacking a horse I set off in my trusty Zafira and made my way to the ground.
The match official for the day Mr John Bird,a full time student at Nottingham Trent University who is taking a degree in civil engineering. On the kick off Belgrave defended the car park end. From the start it was one way traffic as Bosworth took the game to Belgrave who put up a valiant defence,on 15 minutes a 5 yard scrum the ball came back on the Bosworth side and Ricky Wickwar crossed the line.Bosworth continued to pin Belgrave inside their own half after 23 minutes Richard Harris added 3 points with the boot.
Belgrave finally mounted an attack into the Bosworth half and spent sometime inside their 22 yard line but were unable to put any points on the board,a quick counter attack by Bosworth saw a lineout steal and the ball come to Harry Milner who cut through the Belgrave defence to score. At the half Bosworth led by 13 points to 0.
Famous people at the ground Eda Wigdehl who hails from Norway and partner of Belgrave player Jamie Gray.I have tasked her can she bring some Viking Warriors or failing that some Trolls for next weeks home game to assist our own Viking warrior Patrick Thomson.
The second half was much as the first with Bosworth following the script and all reading from the same page and Belgrave playing catch up having dropped the script and put the pages in the wrong order.A rolling maul by Bosworth crossed the Belgrave line and Joe Rondon dropped on the ball to score
With the slope and muddy conditions in their favour Bosworth continued to pin Belgrave inside their own half,Pat Finn finishing off a passing move to score in the corner.
Another rolling maul by Bosworth resulted in a penalty try being awarded,a 30 point lead to Bosworth.A cry was heard "A try,a try,my kingdom for a try" Belgrave picked up the ball plus the right of the script and marched up the field, with the forwards and backs combining for the first time , Belgraves number 8 Jamie Gray scored. It is rumoured that a national holiday has been declared in Norway.
The last kick of the game Bosworth put another 3 points on the board to give them victory by 33 points to 5.Belgrave failed to adapt to the muddy conditions,a bit like Richard 3rd and myself who had half the pitch on my shoes, trousers and even my note book, hence the washing machine is whirling away.
On leaving the ground I thought I would us Richard 3rds final words, but "A Zafira,a Zafira my kingdom for a Zafira" has not got that ring to it.Next week a home fixture against high flying Market Harborough of the loud blazers. When hopefully some of our injured players will return and the Vikings and Trolls will have arrived.Over to you Eda.
No sign of the usual suspects in The Hoskins,it is rumoured the Austin Brothers were out collecting fines.I spent the evening with with Jimmy McCullum from north of the border who supports the well known Scottish football team Dumbarton Nil.
Hope to see you next week.
