Written by a man with world wide readers, looking for green men and spotted Dick and wary of hanging the washing out.

This week the first home fixture of the season where Coalville RFC were the visitors plus the ex players lunch where 64 people sat down to a roast beef meal followed by spotted dick.Who ever he is.
This report is going world wide with Tom(statto)Hunter in Las Vegas for Tom Underwoods wedding on Wednesday the word on the street is Elvis is attending,The Austin Brothers on some military adventure where they are painted green and Bamber, the Viking warrior and legohead in Dublin.Although it must be said the Austin Brothers could have been there we just could not see them.
The match official for the day Mr Bower dressed in the new official kit of the referees society, who ever chose the colours tell them not to give up their day job.
Two new players on the team at full back Osian(much travelled)Davies and a return for Gregg(greased lightening)Lount on the wing at number 11 .On the kick off Belgrave defended the clubhouse end.Coalville drew first blood when Will Keeling put 3 points on the board from the Belgrave 22 yard line.
Belgrave hit back after 10 minutes following a period of forward pressure,on winning a 5 yard scrum the ball was put to the backs and Kevin(bungle)Curtis (as pictured) crossed the line he duly converted.
A period of Belgrave pressure took place and Gregg Lount cut through the Coalville defence from the halfway line to score,he was then set up for his second try by Joe(lego head)Pollard who drew in the defence and reverse passed to him and he outpaced the defence. For Belgraves bonus point try Elliot Walker gained the ball from a 5 yard lineout and scored under the posts. With the last play of the half Henry Rotstein scored from behind a Coalville driving maul.Half time score being Belgrave 26 to Coalvilles 8.
The second half took place mostly around the half way line with both teams cancelling each other out,Belgrave had several chances to put points on the board but failed.Coalville put points on the board when Liam Nelson broke away and scored in the corner, the conversion hit the bar and bounced back infield. The last play of the match saw the try of the match Michael Richmond ran fully 80 yards beating several players and outpacing the defence to give Coalville a well deserved losing bonus point.Final score Belgrave 26 Coalville 20.The man of the match Gregg Lount who is looking for a sponsor, with your speed I shall speak to Lewis Hamilton for you.
Next week an away fixture at Huntingdon at the racecourse. The question is with the report finished,do I go and hang the washing out for fear of the Austin Brothers hiding in the garden to jump out on me.Plus on talking pictures at 4.20 is " A tale of two cities" the 1958 version black and white. The washing can wait because "It is a far far better thing I do than I have ever done" good bloke that Charles Dickens.See you next week.
