Coaching Staff hold the fort.

Club Statement
It is with a heavy heart that we have to confirm the rumours and announce that our manager will be standing down at the end after Saturdays game
Matt (Macca) Collins will be stepping down this weekend due to coaching opportunities with a prestigious football club currently playing in the Championship that have been offered to him and which fits his long-term career path in football. Matt has stated he will help the club if required through any transition period and beyond. Although very sad to see Macca leave, Belper Utd are proud that we in some way have been part of his coaching development over the past 18 months and trust we have given him an insight into management that moving forward will be invaluable to him. We sincerely wish him all best for the future and are confident that a full-time career in football is only a stepping stone away
Matt has have been part of the club set up now for 18 months initially doing coaching sessions before taking the manager role this season. His passionate vision of how he believes the game should be played has bought about a change in how we play and this over the past 4 months this has been engrained in our squad, we are now reaping the rewards of that change as results and performances show.
For the foreseeable future, Macca’s coaching staff of Adam Burton and Dave Moon will take over as joint managers, with this current enthusiasm in the squad and the foundations Macca has set, I am confident that there will be a smooth seamless transition, we wish them the very best of luck
