Mainly due to having no specific media officer to maintain this website no items for the 2019-20 season have appeared. For that we apologise, Things are due to change for 2020-21 with the appointment of a media officer to look after this site and other social media communication. There have also been some close season changes in the Belper United Management Committee which will be announced after our AGM later this month.
Belper United would also welcome enquiries from anyone who would like to join the Club Committee or be available to help on Match Days.
Their is still a lot of uncertainty as to when the new season will start although some training I now possible within the coronavirus guidelines.
The early closure of the 2019-20 season and the decisions made by the FA means that the constitution of the East Midlands Counties League should remain the same for the new season and, in fact, the EMCL will continue to operate as the FA plans to restructure the Step 6 Leagues nationally have been put back for a season. This also meant their was no promotion or relegation and four Clubs hoping to move to Step 5 will have to fight again for the honour.
As I said at the beginning it is hoped that this site and other social media site will be operating for the new season to keep you up to date with what I happening at Belper United.
