Belper United had to make changes again. Lewis Bamford came in for the injured Adam Jablonski in goals, Adam Taylor returned at right-back, James Baxter at centre-half with James Harrison and Ben Summers returning in attack.
Belper United started brightly and had a decent shout for a penalty as early as the first minute when the ball appeared to be handled in the six yard box, but the referee waved the claims away.
Swanwick Pentrich Road came into the game with the ball getting hit early to the big centre forward, Andy White, but were restricted to long range efforts which never really troubled the United goal.
After 32 minutes Belper United broke the deadlock. An exquisite pass from Mark Walker released Sam Vickers down the left who outstripped the fullback before squaring the ball for Jay Harrison to slam home from inside the six yard box.
Half-time : Swanwick Pentrich Road 0-1 Belper United
The Swans came out and for 15 minutes bombarded United's goal but the defence stood firm. Andy White crashed a header against the crossbar and the chances that were on target were confidently collected by Lewis Bamford in goal.
After 70 minutes Belper United took over with the pace of Ben Summers, Sam Vickers and Matt Wright causing all kinds of problems. Sam Vickers had numerous chances to score but his efforts just flashed wide or brought a good save from the keeper.
After 88 minutes though United finally doubled their lead. A poor touch from the goalkeeper, after a back pass, was pounced on by Matt Wright who chipped the ball into the back of the net to the delight of all the players and fans for his first goal for the club.
In injury time, Ben Summers ran down a lost cause and laid the ball back for Matt Wright to cross into the box. Ash Dhindsa collected the ball and at the second attempt slotted the ball home for a third goal.

Paul Postlethwaite says 'I am delighted to get 3 points and a clean sheet. It was a typical local derby, frantic at times, on a hard bouncy pitch with a swirling wind. The 4 attacking players may take the plaudits, but Lewis Bamford, the defence and the two in centre of midfield set us up with a solid base from which to attack from. We now have a crazy period of league fixtures to finish the season and a league cup semi-final so will need the help of all the club to get through it.
