Lots going on

I just wanted to provide you all with an update as we are on the eve of the 2022 season.

Training has returned for Adults and older colts on a Tuesday Night, training starts at 6.30pm, there was a good turnout this week. So lets hope that continues, as we have a busy schedule ahead.

Tomorrow is the first game of the season. We have a youthful side lead by new club captain Ash Parmenter taking on Matching Green. Game starts at 1pm. The sun is scheduled to shine and there plenty of Bottled Beer in the fridge. So if you fancy enjoying a beer in the Sunshine then come over

We have a game next Saturday and 2 games on Sunday. So if you still haven't registered on Pitchero then do it here: Sign Up

Play cricket will be used a lot this season for both adults and colts teams, so again if you aren't registered on there as a club member then please do so here: Play Cricket

Your Friday nights are back.

On Friday 22nd April, Colts Training returns. The first 2 weeks are free, so bring the kids along, let them come and play some cricket and you can enjoy the stocked bar and hot food.

On 6th May, Dynamo's and Allstars begin in earnest. If you still haven't signed up your 5-11 year then you can do that here: Sign your Kids Up

Save the date

Friday 24th June, the club is planning a Colts Photo Day where all colts including All Stars and Dynamos will have the photo's professional taken. This should be a great experience for everyone.

The bar is the clubs main source of income over the season, we expect to have bumper Friday nights and have lots of plans for the coming season in terms of social events. The club has invested in a Till and card machine this year and it should make the whole process of buying drinks a little easier. The till is simple enough to use, so if you think you can spare some time on a Friday night then please let me know. Even if its just for an hour or so, as the Tesco saying goes Every Little Helps

As a small cricket club we are also looking and ways to increase the money coming into the club, with that in mind we have a number of Social Events planned for the year. so watch out for these announcements. We also plan to try and do some fundraising on Friday nights, so again, if you can help with this then let me know.

Sponsorship is a key component to any club and its no different here, if you have the ability to be able to provide the cricket club with Sponsorship then again please contact me, we have many options open and I'm sure we can discuss something that suits all parties.

Because of the Fundraising that takes place and the money that is spent behind the bar, the club has managed to Purchase a Defibrator, we hope that we never ever have to use it, but we now have one at the Cricket Club.

An email was sent earlier in the week regarding membership.
I have attached the forms again, Adult (for Men, Ladies, & Students Over 18) and Colt (for Boys & Girls Under 18 not part of All Stars or Dynamos) membership forms for the 2022 season.
It's important that these are completed so that the club complies with GDPR. So if you haven't already then please complete these as soon as possible.

On that note, if you have received this email, you are on the clubs contact list, if you would prefer not to be, then let me know and I will take you off

This year we are running fantasy cricket.

It's on a Hosted Website all the details can be found here: Fantasy Cricket

It only costs £10 and 50% of all money raised will go back into the club so please if you can take part, it makes the season more fun and make everyone interested in how different players in different team got on.

I apologise for the long email but I felt it important to keep the whole club informed.

Thank you
