Please read before coming to the ground

Now that we have been given the go ahead to play cricket again, we can look forward to what is left of the season and start getting some games played! (Stay tuned for more info on adults and colts fixtures in the near future). There are however, a number of guidelines that we must all follow in order to keep everyone involved as safe as possible;

  • Before coming to the ground, all participants (players, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators) should check for symptoms of COVID-19. If an individual is symptomatic and/or living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection they should remain at home and follow UK Government guidance.
  • You must arrive in playing or training kit, ready to take part. There are no changing facilities available.
  • You must follow club guidelines regarding seating areas while you are at the ground, to help maintain social distancing. Please see attached map for details.
  • In the event of rain, you must use your own vehicles or umbrellas for shelter.
  • On arrival you must clean your hands using either your own hand sanitiser or the sanitising stations on site.
  • Provide your contact details to your captain or coach for contact tracing purposes. Details will only be kept for 21 days.
  • The bar and other refreshment facilities will not be open, so please bring your own refreshments. (Remember there will also be no teas! So bring your own food!)
  • Spectators will be required to bring their own chairs.

For full ECB guidelines on returning to cricket please see here.

We look forward to having you back at the club and hope you enjoy the rest of the season!

Many Thanks,
Bentley CC Committee
