Comrades Confirm Expansion of Youth Team Set-Up

Berkhamsted FC are expanding their youth pathway for elite football into younger age groups.

They will have three teams in the Eastern Junior Alliance next season. The under 13s will be managed by Tony Clarke and the under 14s by Alex Francis. Their divisions for the new season were finalised at the league AGM last night.

The composition of the under 16 divisions will be finalised later this month after a postal ballot. Berko are one of 51 teams to be allocated to one of five regional divisions. Managers Tommy Muckell and Ritchie Hanlon move up to this age group.

Similarly, the under 18s will continue in the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League with the divisional line ups to be announced later this month. The under 16s from last season under Marc Fryer will be amongst the players joining this team.

Dates and venues for trials and training will be announced shortly for all age groups. New players are welcome. The presentations for the youth sides of last season and the development team will be made at the club on Saturday 15 June.
