Report by Grant Hastie
The Comrades defence was breached in the 12th minute with a defence splitting pass that was ruled not offside, allowing Brooks to run on and net. Clarke added a second in the 28th minute to leave the side one division higher two up at the interval. Lewis Toomey was caught offside when he thought he was through and headed just wide with his next chance.
On the hour mark Clarke scored again. Substitute Oran Swales pulled one back for Berko with a run and cross from the right of the penalty area for Eric Lopes to net his first goal for Berko, sweeping home at the back post. Berko might have scored again but Lopes chose to shoot from the left when an easy pass might have been the better option. In the closing stages Brooks got his second with a close range shot.
Berko: Comas-Leon; Neufville, Cooper, Spaul, Doolan, Farrelly, Hart, L Toomey, Lopes, Chamberlain. Subs used - Williamson, Murphy, Briggs, C Toomey, Witham, Swales, Verney
