i started my rugby career back in my teens as Full Back for Yardley and District RFC in their Junior Section and Colts. In the Colts I made the transition to Outside Centre and a few guest spots as Scrum Half. Moving into Senior rugby I became 3rd XV Captain and also made guest appearances for the 2nd XV before going to University.
As time went by I moved closer and closer to the forwards covering all the positions from 15-9 at some point, before finally accepting that my pace was diminished and time for hair prep much reduced and becoming a forward. As a forward I have mainly been established as a Second Row though on occasion moved to the flanks and Number 8. At some point somebody tricked me into learning the secrets of the Front Row and so now have the unenviable task of covering as prop when my neck allows it.
Rugby has always provided the family and social fabric of my life and my greatest friends and banter bunch are those I have played with and socialised with both on the pitch and off it. Rugby is an extremely positive force for good and I am keen to welcome anybody who wants to give it a try.
