A virtual occasion

For the first time in the Club’s 31 year history, Presentation Evening took place virtually due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. Over 34 Club members came together to recognise efforts of everyone involved this season. When the Government allows, a rerun of the event will take place so we can all do what we do best – Celebrate in style!
After a competitive season, with many new additions to the squad making instant and lasting impacts, choosing award winners was positively difficult. Every member can be proud of their contribution this season and we can’t wait to get back playing again – here is to a great 2020/21!

Oppositions’ Player of the Season – Izzy Foot
In her debut season, Izzy has not only made a lasting impression on our Club but on our opposition too. Izzy’s tenacity, ability and work rate has been deservedly complimented.

Top Goal Scorer – Izzy Foot
Another great achievement in her first season with the Club. Izzy has a habit of scoring worldies whilst making it look so easy!

Player’s Most Improved – Mickey Bryant
Joining the Club this season, Mickey has demonstrated her passing ability through opening up opposition defences. Mickey works hard to cover every blade of grass (or 3G!) whilst linking up with team mates who have recognised her development.

Manager’s Most Committed – Nadia Giorgi
Nadia’s first full season has seen unwavering commitment in training. Nadia is always positive on match days, both on and off the pitch, and may go down in the history books for scoring the last pre-COVID-19 goal in England!

Players' Player – 3rd Place – Gab Beckett & Izzy Foot
The attack-minded pair share many similarities in their style of play. Pace, strength and commitment are just a few of the attributes that Gab and Izzy bring to the team.

Players' Player – Runner up – Georgina ‘Cookie’ Cook
Loyal, reliable and hardworking. Cookie is an asset to the Club, driving morale on match days as well as making everyone feel part of the team. An experienced head on young shoulders.

Players' Player – Molly Kemp
A stalwart member of the Club, Molly’s consistent nature makes her a reliable performer, well respected and admired throughout the team. Still waters run deep.

Manager’s Player – Michelle Compton
A long servant to the Club, Michelle has registered a near perfect season at the heart of the Club’s defence. Team captain leading by example, especially as she didn’t receive a booking this season – a first!

Club Hero – Gab Beckett
Personal Trainer Gab sponsored the Club this season as well as working to actively support fitness development of the squad around her business.
