Bibury End Pre Season With Clear Win

Bibury AFC rounded off their 2017/18 Pre Season campaign with a decent 3-1 victory against a young Malmesbury Victoria Development side on Saturday 29th July.

Due to Manager Andy Ealey being at a family wedding, First Team Coach Steven Pawelek took charge of the team in their last game of what has been an eventful pre season schedule.

On a wet July afternoon, Bibury lined up in a 4-4-2 formation hoping to carry on momentum from last weekends excellent victory over New College.
Club captain and Goalkeeper Steve Luce started his second game of pre season, Charlie Ingham started his first game of pre Season and Bibury also welcomed the return of James Keylock, Dan Shannon, Ryan Bowen, Kasey Davies and Craig Donnan back into the side.

Bibury started slow in this game and saw themselves, 0-1 down early which saw a switch in formation and a much improved performance from the Gloucestershire outfit, deep in the second half, Scott Garrett missed a one and one opportunity and even though this was met with disappointment, you could sense a Bibury revival occurring.

Eventually Bibury found their rhythm and two goals from Dom O'Neill and one goal from James Keylock claimed the victory for them. A job well done for the stand in Manager and he was pleased with the victory.
