Gosford All Blacks replace Banbury at Chesterton Fixture

Last Sunday saw the players back, full of enthusiasm and playing enjoyable, fast rugby. Great to see the return of their desire and self belief. I am happy to report that Ashley returned from hospital with no more than a pulled muscle in his neck. Anything for a day off school!!! Please see the BRUFC Website for a full match report and match photos. No need to comment on the coaches mug shots please!! No prizes for guessing what Chris is up to either!

Last Sunday I mentioned that Banbury were no longer visiting us on the 22nd which meant that we would have a training session. We have however managed to secure a fixture at Chesterton against the Gosford All Blacks. This should afford us the opportunity of exposing our squads to real match conditions. We would like to invite all available players to be at Chesterton by 9:45 for what we hope will be a cracker!!!
We will be training on Friday evening at Oxford Road from 6- 7:30 and would like to see as many players as we had last week (19). Could I please remind everyone that we do now require gum shields at these sessions as we may carry out some contact drills.

Have a good week and we'll see you all at the weekend
