The first season of leagues has produced a nail biting fianle, with Chinnor beating Oxford in the last game of the season by 38 points to nil, with the final decisive try being scored in the last play of the game (as reported by our touchline correspondent Barry Cavey).
This means that Chinnor have pipped Wallingford to the post by virtue of a better points difference (5 points).
It also means that Bicester finished 3rd and as such avoid the relegation play off which will now be faced by Oxford!
So, division 1 rugby again next season along with Chinnor & Wallingford and two of probably Oxford, Harlequins & Henley.
Congratulations to Chinnor, commiserations to Wallingford and lets look forward to as much fun next year, with Bicester in the frame!
