Bobby was a long-time supporter of the Club, and assisted in many ways; he was a great friend of Ray Taylor and when Ray ran the Burger Van on Match day’s he provided all the required ingredients (Burgers, Sausages, Rolls, Sauces etc).

Bobby was also a great supporter of the Reserves, and when Derek Elston was their Manager, he sponsored the side covering the cost of the new Kits.

Not many Supporters can claim to have contributed to the Club as Bobby did over the seasons, and for this the Club Officials are indebted.

Alongside his wife, they have run the Golden Sands Nursing Home at Westward Ho! for number of years.

We understand that he had been very ill of late with a Respiratory condition, and I was only Speaking to him in the last few weeks, and whilst I noticed that he seemed to have lost some weight, he was still his bright self. Rest in peace Bobby!!!
