Bideford have been handed a tough away tie in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy as the take on league leaders Yate Town.

Yate have won four out of four in the league and six out of seven in all competitions so far this season. Their only blemish was a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Hungerford Town of the Southern League Premier Division.

The Robins ended a run of three straight defeats on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Malvern Town to progress in the FA Trophy.

In other news; Bideford’s Devon St Luke’s Challenge Cup 1st round tie away to Honiton Town has been set for Wednesday 25th September with a 7:45pm kick off.
