A Brief History of Larkhall Athletic
Larkhall Athletic were founded in 1914 and played local football until joining Western League Division One for the 1976/77 season. They were twice Division One champions, first in 1988/89 but elected not to be promoted and again in 2008/09 when they did accept promotion to the Premier Division. In 2010/11 Larkhall were Western League Champions but were unable to move up to the Southern League due to ground requirements. However they were able to be promoted after winning a second Western League title in 2013/14 and joined Southern League Division One South & West for 2014/15. In that season they finished an impressive 5th and last season they were comfortable in 11th position.

Form
Larkhall Athletic have not been in the best of form of late. Last week's 4-1 win at bottom club Wantage Town was their first win since their impressive 5-0 victory away to Shortwood United on 19th November. Inbetween those successes they have drawn three and lost six including an embarrassing 10-2 defeat to Taunton Town. Larkhall are currently in 15th position (W7 D9 L11).

It's three games unbeaten for Bideford but a last minute equaliser denied them a deserved three points last week against Didcot. That result has likely ended any hopes The Robins had of making the play offs this season. Consistency has been Bideford's problem all season along with the inability to convert their chances, something that was evident once again against Didcot. Bideford are 10th in Division One S&W (W11 D7 L10).
