Moneyfields vs Bideford
Southern League Division One South
Saturday 11th January 2020
3:00pm kick off
Moneyfields Sports Ground, Portsmouth
On Saturday Bideford will make the long trip to Porstmouth to take on Moneyfields as the team with the worst home record in the league this season come up against the team with the worst away record! Moneyfields have taken just seven points from a possible twenty-one at home while Bideford have only managed a single point a possible twenty-four (Amazingly, The Robins have the best home record in the league outside of the top two!). Both sides have found this campaign to be a struggle with Bideford down in 15th place, five points and two places above Moneyfields who have three games in hand. The side from Hampshire were unlucky to come away from league leaders Thatcham empty handed last week going down 4-3 after leading 3-1. They did recently take a point from Frome though and beat another top six side in Evesham but on the flip side were well beaten by Willand and Totton. Bideford scored their best win of the season so far last week coming from behind to beat second placed Frome at the Sports Ground. As previously mentioned though, The Robins problems are on the road where all they have to show for their efforts this season is a solitary point at Larkhall back in August.
