This weekend sees a brand new challenge as we step into the unknown against Winlaton,a team we have never faced before but one which will undoubtedly bring new challenges. As always with cup weeks we seem to be hit with injuries as th J&J centre partnership are both out of action as is Batesy from the engine room. What that does though is give the others an opportunity to shine in a different position. Looking at the opposition results they are a mixed bag, making it difficult to know what to expect, there is the look back at the last round where they beat Sedgefield 41-17 so they can score points but what we do know is, if we go there and play to our potential we are good enough to beat anyone left in the draw on our day. The intensity needs to be there from the outset and as we talked about at the end of Saturday's game, we need to continue to play for the full 80 minutes. Win this one and we are 1 away from the final, and what an opportunity that would be.
The squad with the injuries is not as large as it could have been but saying that we could only pick from 21 players due to cup rules and at the moment are travelling with 20 which shows the strength in depth but please, no late cry offs.
After the wins across the board last week we have our own chsnce to make a bit of history, where will you be when that happens?
