A. A Result Sheet for each match whether it be played on a Saturday or Sunday must be received by the Results Secretary by 9pm on the Monday evening following the match. This sheet must be submitted electronically using the official electronic spreadsheet format provided; incomplete and alternative formats will not be accepted. In the event that a match does not take place, a sheet must still be sent.
B. The Result Sheet to contain full scores of match, batting and bowling analysis, the names of players on each side (if any) who did not bat, catchers' names and identification of any catch by a wicketkeeper. The Result Sheet must agree with the completed Team Sheet.
C. Failure to forward fully completed Result or Team Sheets by the required time will incur the following fines: - first offence £5, second £10, third and fourth offences £20, thereafter £25 per offence. After the fifth, the club will be asked to appear before the Management Board. If a missing Result or Team Sheet is not forwarded to the league within 7 days of receiving a reminder from a League official then the Management Board shall have the power to add an extra £5 fine for every further week that the Result/Team Sheet remains outstanding unless a satisfactory explanation is received; in addition to this, a 1 point deduction may be made from that team's overall points total.
D. All home clubs must phone in their results, irrespective of whether the match takes place or not, on a Saturday or Sunday evening to the Results Secretary prior to 9pm otherwise they will be fined. First offence £3.00, second, third and fourth offences £5.00, thereafter £12.00. The phoning in of results is an important part of match day administration. Clubs who persistently offend will be asked to appear before the Management Board to explain their failures.
At the council meeting on Tuesday 3rd April 2012 clubs were advised of the prefered option that home teams use text as an alternative to phoning results. Communication of the results to the Results Secretary, Phil Senior, must still be before 9pm on the day of the game. Phone calls must only be made to landline (01484 606379) and texts only to mobile (07713613833).
