The wait is almost over

As many of you will see the he UK Government have announced that outdoor sport can restart on 29 March 2021. What form this will be able to take has yet to be announced by England Rugby. Once their plans are approved by the Government they will be able to let clubs know, and we will be able to provide further details.

Restarting is also reliant on any advice and guidance that will apply to Birmingham
City University as Moor Lane is their facility.

Please note that the rules in England may be different to Wales or Scotland.

This restart will be towards the end of the season, so we will need to take into consideration training and playing for the 21/22 season as well.

Engalnd Rugby have released the following statement

We welcome last night’s Government announcement that grassroots team sport including community rugby can return on Monday 29 March.

Over the coming weeks, we will work with Government to understand the number of players and format of rugby that will be permitted upon our return in both schools and community rugby. When we have clarified these details, and associated travel queries, we will share the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap alongside a step-by-step guide to returning to training and guidance around facilities re-opening.

Please ensure that you keep your contact details up to date so we can keep in touch.
